3 Offline Marketing Ideas for the Internet Marketer

1. Sign up with a pay day loan offer, then make flyers that say something like “Get $1500 Cash Today! Goto 1500getthecashrightnow.com” (made that up). Then go to your local unemployment office, welfare office, etc and put the flyers on all the cars.

2. Sign up with a “How to get chicks” ebook or system, make up flyers that something like “Are You Going Home Without A Girl Tonight? As Soon As You Get Home Go To http://www.gethtehottestchicksintheworld.com (made that up) to learn how to take the hottest girl in the club home every time!”. Find the most popular night clubs and then put the flyers on all the cars. Or if you’re brave sit outside at 2am when the club closes and pass out the flyers to the guys who are leaving alone. 🙂

3. Find a company looking for people to do telemarketing from home. Like for instance I just found one on CL, it’s a security guard service that wants to find new clients, and they pay $35 to $50 just for an appointment to be made for one of their sales reps to go sell it. Once you have a good one go sign up with odesk.com and put up a job offer for someone to do telemarketing. With Google Voice and Skype people from all over the world can do this, and there’s a lot of them that speak good English. What I do is tell them I need someone who can call between certain time and MUST be able to speak clear English. Then I tell them to call a voice mail and read the first paragraph of my pitch that I send them. That way it makes it real easy to make a decision. Oh, and most of them will do it for $1 to $2 an hr, and give them a $5 bonus if they get the appointment, they’re very happy with that. I have tried this one myself and it did work….

I should be in bed right now, but I can’t sleep. I’m a full fledged freak…. I thought I had another idea but it slipped my mind. Damn it!

I will get into this more later but the jest of it is that I live an alternate lifestyle. I live in an office building. I rent a small office in a nice little downtown area and I like it a whole lot. I work mostly at night so it’s very quiet and peaceful. When someone walks in my office they think it’s an office, but after 3am it’s my bedroom 😉 I don’t keep a bunch of clothes around and I hide everything in bins or file boxes. You would have to be a major Nosy Barker to MAYBE get the idea someone lives here, and thankfully most people aren’t. Even so, the things they find are easily explainable.

It’s actually very nice here, I like it a lot. Oh, and I am in very good company with all the Silicon Valley people over the years who lived in their offices while creating something big.

Sign up with an affiliate network that offers dating sites, I use MMDCash.com, they pay weekly.

Find the program you want to promote and copy the affiliate link with your ID in it.

Go to bit.ly and create a short link. I would use the custom name feature so you can make it look nice (ie. bit.ly/freakydates).
This is a 100% free tactic but if you want to get a domain name and forward it to make it look just a little better you can get one at 1and1.com for $8.99 a year, and a lot of times they have great sales at $4.99 a yr. They also have .info domains for .99 cents.

Then go download http://camstudio.org/ This is a free screen capture program that will allow you to capture webcams.

Goto blogtv.com, stickam.com or ustream.com and find a cute girl siting in front of her webcam talking or doing whatever.

Open your CamStudio and capture just her vid. It allows you to define the part of the screen you want to use. I would record at least a minute or more.

When you’re done, name it, then open your Windows Movie Maker so you can edit it. If you don’t have Movie Make than you can download it for free off download.com

Now at the end of the video you want to have it just be text and have it say. MY DAMN MIC WENT OUT! What I was going to say was… I found a new site the other day where I’ve met some really cool people! You guys should check it out and add me. The site is bit.ly/freakydates and my username there is freakazoid88.

Save the video and now upload it to Youtube, Google Video, Break, Metacafe, Vimeo, etc. Make sure you give it a title that will draw people in. Words like; cute girl on webcam, my vlog day 29, video blog upate – my jacked up day, etc. Try differnet things, making it sound real, and also trying to draw them in with keywords. In the description the very first thing should be your affiliate forwarding link, then a few lines of description filled with keywords that will draw the guys in.
Spending very small amount of money option: You can hire someone on Fiverr for $5 to upload your video to the top 20 video sites on the net, with titles, and descriptions. Saves a lot of time, and it’s dirt cheap.

So if you really want to make a lot of money with this tactic you are going to have to make a whole boatload of videos and get them out there… and if you’re lazy you can hire someone on odesk.com to do all the work for you for a very small amount of money. If you do that you may want to compatmentalize some of the tasks so they don’t run off with your idea.

Work Log 01-18-12

Ok this is the first day of my making money out of nothing journey, and I am going to track my time to see if I am utilizing my time efficiently.

4pm – 6pm (2hrs) Wrote a method for making money on Youtube, then posted it on moneymakerdiscussion.com

6pm – 7pm (1hr) At some food at Wahoo’s Tacos – Rice, beans & Fish taco $4.90, fill ya up!

7pm – 8pm (1hr) Formulating the plan, and creating this blog. Oh and Put my Youtube method on Fiverr for sale.

8pm – 10pm (2hrs) AA meeting, and getting my dinner. Ended up just being a little bit of a meeting, then a mile and a half walk while talking to someone on the phone.

10pm-1am – Puting together products for someone to add to one of my websites, and an instructional video. Took a little longer than I thought but I got it done. This was a money making venture for sure. More products on my website, more options for my customers to choose from, hopefully they buy more.

1am-3am – trying to figure out the damn Google product feed for another website. I thought I had it then it says there’s no products. 😦 Damn it.

Mission 1 – Create Money out of Nothing

Today I am going to start a mission to create new money out of thin air, and do it with no money out of my pocket. I only have a 4 year old lap top, a 3G cell phone connection and many years of Internet marketing in my head.

Because of the economy I am down to nothing! And my biggest mistake is that I held on too long to certain ways of making money online, so long that I am now living on borrowed time. I really can’t go down much further without stealing a shopping cart and calling it home. I’m living in an office, driving my girlfriends car and I live on the scraps that are still coming in off my old Internet business, just enough for food and gas.

So I am going to document my journey from nothing to someting, from zero dollars to thousands of dollars, God willing and the creek don’t rise. I welcome you to follow my journey and give advice, constructive critism, or to cheer me on…. which will inevitability cheer us ALL on and inspire us all to make money! Right?!?!?
